oxHaus designs, builds, secures and implements the technology a business depends on. We do not sell a fixed package. Each engagement starts from how your organisation works and what needs to change.
The work brings together three disciplines that are usually bought separately: cybersecurity, software development and systems implementation. Keeping them in one house means the system that is built is also the system that is secured and supported.
Who leads the work
oxHaus was founded by Tumelo Baloyi, who brings 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, software development and systems implementation.
Why the ox
The ox has long been respected for a particular kind of strength: steady, patient and able to carry weight over a long distance. It works under a yoke shared with the farmer, and it prepares the ground so that something can grow.
In Southern Africa, including Tsonga tradition, cattle are kept at the centre of the homestead and treated as wealth held in trust, tied to family, memory and the people who came before.
We take both ideas seriously. We take on the heavy parts of a technology project, work at a pace that holds up over time, and treat the systems and data you trust us with as something held in trust. Haus is the house where that work is done: a place for a craft, built to last.
